Charges
Royal Triangle Health Care and Volunteering program is essentially a non-profit making initiative.
Total contribution per student for a 4-week electives (accommodation inclusive) could be as low as $470 depending on applicant's preferences. |
Please note that the stated fee does not cater for feeding, travel insurance, flights, visa fees, work permits, airport taxes, return trip to the airport, vaccinations, day to day expenses in terms of food, bottled water, travels, snacks and soft drinks etc. These are solely the responsibility of the program participant.

Application Processing Fee: |
Each applicant would be required to pay application processing fee of $50 through PAYPAL or $ 80 when the applicant chooses to pay ON ARRIVAL.
Apart from of application processing fee which applicants could decide to pay via PayPal, all other payments are to be made on arrival in Ghana.

Accommodation |
Participants are expected to pay for their own accommodation for the chosen period of elective. Royal Triangle has pre-arranged affordable shared accommodation for students. The houses used for this purpose are modestly equipped and provided with the necessary furnishing and other domestic household fittings to make life comfortable for students.

|
With this arrangement students are expected to share a bungalow and facilities therein with other elective students. A maximum of two students share a room in our shared accommodation. This offer is however subject to availability.
Guaranteed in our accommodation are daily cleaning by cleaners, constant water supply and
24-hour security presence.
Participants are however expected to help keep the houses tidy at all times. |

In summary, for a participant visiting a DISTRICT HOSPITAL for a four-week period and resident in our shared apartment, the total cost of electives could be as low as $ 470.
For a similar placement in a Specialist Hospital,
the total cost of electives could be as low as $ 640.

OPTIONAL PAYMENTS |
|
The following payments are purely Optional and participant could arrange alternatives
They are as follows:
AIRPORT PICK UPS AND TRANSPORT TO FACILITY
Interested participants pay a total of
$90 per head for pickup from Airport to facility of attachment within the Eastern Region of Ghana in a comfortable vehicle.
(For a group of three or more, total pick up charge payable is $67 per head instead $90).
Participants going to the Central Region of Ghana (Cape Coast precisely) pay a total pick up charge of
$110 per head ($88 for a group of three or more).
FIRST NIGHT HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Depending on time of arrival and the distance from the airport to a chosen hospital or health facility, it may be necessary for a participant to be accommodated at a hotel or guest house on the day of arrival. Hotel or guest house accommodation charge for the night of arrival ranges between $25 to 80per head, depending on class of accommodation is available.
Where available, rooms at Royal Triangle Guest House is offered to participants at an affordable rate of $18 per head for double-occupancy, and $25 for single occupancy.
AIRPORT DROP OFF
At the end of program, rebated airport drop off charges for facilities within the Eastern Region of Ghana are as follows:
$ 80 for a single traveller
$ 60
per head for two travellers,
and
$50 per head for three or more travellers |

FOOD AND TRANSPORT |
Numerous restaurants available offer both local and continental dishes. At the request of students, special arrangement could be made towards preparation of food for students. The cost involved would be borne solely by the requesting student or students. Cost per meal for such arranged foods is $ 5.00
Public Buses and private Mini buses (popularly called Trotro) as well as Taxis (mini cabs) are available to cater for all your transport needs. |

PRIVATE OR OUT-OF-PROGRAMME TRAVELS
Irrespective of the laudable hospitality of Ghanaians, we still advice that participants on private (unofficial) travels take good care of themselves and their belongings wherever they find themselves. Royal Triangle assumes no liability for items lost or other misfortunes encountered during such tours, although we would offer every available support within our means in the event of a problem.
