Dr. Samuel Kwame Buabeng-Frimpong is the CEO of Royal Triangle Group and the Director for the Medical Elective and Volunteering Program.

He graduated from the School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana with Bachelor degrees in Human Biology, Medicine and Surgery.

He further pursued a Masters degree in Health Informatics at the school of Public Health of the University of Ghana and successfully graduated with excellence.

His Field Practicum, "Developing a Medical Elective Website for Akuapim South Municipal Health Administration" gave birth to the Royal Triangle Medical Elective Programme.

Dr. Buabeng-Frimpong happens to be a member of the maiden cohort to have benefited ffrom the Bill and Melinda Gate-funded International Program for Public Health Leadership (IPPHL) offered by the University of Washington on behalf of the Gate's foundation.

As a student at SMS-KNUST, Dr. S. Kwame Buabeng-Frimpong was elected the 2000-2001 president of the Medical Students Association of SMS-KNUST. He doubled up within the same period as the president Federation of Ghana Medical Students Association (FGMSA) and represented the national medical students' body at numerous fora.
He was the head of Ghana's delegation to the March Meeting of 2001 held at St. Paul Bay, Malta. Dr. Buabeng-Frimpong was actively involved in organising, signing and coordinating student exchange programs between the Ghanaian medical schools and similar foreign institutions. He was also involved with arranging medical elective placements for students who could not get places on the student exchange programs.

Sam, as he is affectionately called, had his medical elective attachment with the Medizinichen Hochschule in Hannover, Germany in November 2000 where he worked with the organ transplatation unit of the hospital.

Dr. S. Kwame Buabeng-Frimpong, is currently the Country Head for Health Information Managemnt for Ghana, working for the Ghana Health Service at the Policy Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Division.
