She completed her medical studies at McGill University and currently doing her residency in family medicine.
As required by most medical training institutions, the McGill University expected Émélie to undertake a 4-week medical elective attachment in a preferred health institution in a preferred country.
Left with the right of choice, she decided to have the elective program in Ghana, a country in West Africa.
With recommendations from past participants from McGill university, Émélie decided to use the Royal Triangle Electives and Volunteers’ Program. |
