Émélie L.Aubin
Representative for Canada
She completed her medical studies at McGill University and currently doing her residency in family medicine.

As required by most medical training institutions, the McGill University expected Émélie to undertake a 4-week medical elective attachment in a preferred health institution in a preferred country.
Left with the right of choice, she decided to have the elective program in Ghana, a country in West Africa.

With recommendations from past participants from McGill university, Émélie decided to use the Royal Triangle Electives and Volunteers’ Program.

Royal Triangle organized a placement for Émélie L.Aubin at the Kwahu Government Hospital in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

When asked about her general impression about the Royal Triangle Program after her rotation, her answer was as simple as “Perfect!”

Having experienced Ghana and the Royal Triangle Program, Émélie remains a good resource person for students who wish to go through a rotation in Ghana. She friendly, lovable and loves meeting new people and living rewarding experiences like her stage to Ghana was.

Émélie L.Aubin currently represents the Royal Triangle Electives and Volunteers Program in Canada.

Medical Students, other healthcare students and volunteers interested in Medical Electives or volunteering in Ghana should contact Émélie via emelie@royaltriangle.org.
